A board member from Camping Outdoor Denmark has found a way to stop burglaries in caravans. Now he wants to spread the word about active area security to the rest of Denmark.
As director of Bijé Fritid & Camping ApS, Jesper Behrensdorff, who is also a board member of Camping Outdoor Denmark, has himself struggled with burglaries of customers' caravans and motorhomes. The problem was solved in a flash when he had active perimeter security installed by SITE-SECURITY. Now, as a board member of Camping Outdoor Denmark, he wants to spread the word so the problem of burglaries can be solved nationwide.
- We went from having burglaries every night, to zero burglaries says Jesper Behrensdorff and continues: unfortunately, the problem has just moved on.
In cooperation with SITE-SECURITY, a provider of active perimeter security, Jesper will therefore spread awareness of the preventive effect of surveillance connected to a manned guard centre.
- Specifically, SITE-SECURITY has produced some information material on the prevention of camping theft. I will initially take this material to meetings with Camping Outdoor Denmark's members, says Jesper, continuing with a smile: I am looking forward to telling how we as an industry can together overcome the problem, the next time I will meet with the other Danish dealers of caravans and motorhomes.
